SUBJECT: 6th eULIS Symposium (13th European Symposium on Urolithiasis)

Dear Sir/ Madam,

As president of eULIS2009 I am responsible for holding this event in the Lake of Como area, specifically at the Grand Hotel di Como from the 15 to the 17 of October 2009

This Symposium will deal with multidisciplinary topics in the field of urolitihiasis, covering areas of epidemiology, metaphylaxis, metabolic investigation and medical treatment, as well as all modern aspects of minimally invasive treatments, such as ESWL and intra corporeal lithotripsy. Not only the most recent advances in endourologic surgery will be approached but also research in stone formation will be covered.

As Urolithiasis covers a wide area of knowledge and requires contributions from various specialists, including those involved in basic research, this meeting is designed to attract urologists, nephrologists, endocrinologists, clinical pathologists and radiologists, as well as general practitioners. Experts from various countries will give lectures, participate in round table discussions and debates and will present results of recent stone research.

The programme will include updated instructional courses and live surgery carried out by international experts in the Lecco hospital
