Conference Fees

Inscriptions are open until 1^st January 2009. After this date, requests and alterations should be directed to the Conference secretariat via the above contacts.

Participant Registration

• Before June 30^st, 2009 - €400,00
• After June 30^st, 2009 - €550,00
• Residents in training and Nurses and Dieticians have a reduction of 20%
• Students have a reduction of 50%

Accompanying person

• Before June 30^st, 2009 - €100,00
• After June 30^st, 2009 - €150,00

Registration fee for participants includes:

• Admission to all scientific sessions.
• Admission to poster and technical exhibition.
• Admission to welcome ceremony on Thursday.
• Conference materials (delegate bag, final program, abstract doc. etc.).
• Coffee breaks and lunches from Thursday 15 ^th October to Saturday, 17 ^th of October 2009.

Registration fee for accompanying persons includes:

• Admission to welcome ceremony on Thursday.
• Half day Sightseeing Lake of Como (Pre registration is necessary).

Technical Equipment for Presentations

All lecture halls are equipped with PC data projection. Video presentation is possible upon request. Only PowerPoint presentation will be provided during the sessions.
Please note: A presentation from an own laptop is not possible. Only Data on a cd rom or a USB-Stick will be accepted (no multisession; IBM PC format compatible).

Essentials for all Abstracts:

• Abstracts must be prepared in English
• Abstracts can only be submitted through the internet:www.eulis2009.com by using the web based Congress Information System. Abstracts received by e-mail, on paper or by fax cannot be accepted.
• Abstracts accepted for oral and poster presentations will be included in the Book of Abstracts to be published in a dedicate supplement.
• Abstracts will appear exactly as submitted.
• Presenting authors whose abstracts are accepted for presentation must register for the Congress and pay the required registration fee.
• Use standard abbreviations and place unusual ones in parentheses after the word first appears. Do not use abbreviations in the title.
• The text of the abstracts should briefly state: Objectives (indicate the purpose of the study or the hypothesis that was tested), Design and methods (include the setting for the study, the subjects the diagnosis or intervention, and the type of statistical analysis. If references are needed they should be given in the text), Results (present as clearly as possible the out come of the study and statistical significant if appropriate) and conclusion (briefly discuss the data and emphasize the significance of the results).
• Please note that a maximum of 3000 characters are allowed.
• Avoid corrections, errors and misspellings.
• A disclosure of the existence any significant financial interest or other affiliations with a funding organization or with a commercial supporter of the session and/or provider of commercial services is required.
• Please note that accepted abstract will be printed in the Abstract Book only after completed registration and payment of the Congress registration fee.
• Please follow carefully this instruction. Abstracts not prepared correctly will not be considered for presentation. Correction of Abstracts cannot be accepted.
• Authors will be informed in the acceptance of their Abstracts no later than the 30th of May.

Payment

When registering for the Congress, please arrange payment of registration fee and other cost according to the instructions on the registration form. You can choose between two forms payment. Especially for payments made from outside Italy we recommend credit card payment. Bank transfers are expensive, since you will have to pay the bank transfer charges twice, in your own Country and in Italy. All payments are made in EUR.
